Following the long-term collapse and neglect of the Yauri Water Works in Kebbi State, do you know that the Buhari administration has now approved about N900m for its reconstruction?
The project will be executed through the Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC) as disclosed by its Managing Director, Alhaji Abubakar Yelwa on Monday, July 25, 2022 during an inspection of the 42-year old facility in Yauri town.
The Managing Director said when completed, the project will expand access to potable water to all residents of Yauri town and its environs. And it will also be utilized to expand opportunities in irrigation farming in line with the agricultural revolution of the Buhari administration.
