To fortify the security cordon of the Federal Capital Territory, do you know that the Buhari administration has just recently approved the procurement of 60 Ford Ranger patrol vehicles for the territory?
The approval was made at the Federal Executive Council meeting of Wednesday, August 3, 2022 wherein the sum of N2.68bn has already been released for the procurement of the vehicles and other security gadgets that will be used by the security personnel.
Fitted with sophisticated radar scanners and other features, it is expected that these new patrol vehicles will greatly help the efforts being made by the administration to secure the FCT in the same manner it is investing in procuring whatever is required to protect other parts of the country.
