In continuation of its campaign to make Nigeria feed itself, do you know that the Buhari administration recently distributed free agricultural inputs, seeds and farm machinery to hundreds of smallholder farmers in Katsina State?
The distribution, which was supervised by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development at the Federal Secretariat Complex in Katsina, was done on Monday, August 22, 2022 whereby the benefitting farmers from all the Local Government Areas of the State were empowered.
Over 10,000 litres of various growth enhancers and pesticides; 150 pasta machines; 7 corn harvesters; 9 units of hammer mills; 700 units of knapsack sprayers; 120 units of water pumping machines, and many other farming essentials were distributed. And this will certainly help these farmers maximise their outputs.
