The Federal Government has concluded plans to inaugurate 1,071 completed houses in eight project sites nationwide. This was disclosed in a statement signed by Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria Group Head, Corporate Communications, Timan Elayo. The statement revealed that the houses constructed under the National Housing Programme would be commissioned between January 16 and 26, 2023.
The National Housing Programme is the housing component of the President Muhammadu Buhari economic sustainability plan to deliver affordable housing, millions of jobs for Nigerians and reduce the housing deficit estimated to be over 22 million.
