Yesterday, at the Federal Inland Revenue Service, HQ, Abuja the Executive Chairman, FIRS, Muhammad Nami was joined by the representatives of the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) at an official ceremony to sign the Host Country Agreement which signifies the acceptance of the FIRS to host the 7th ATAF General Assembly in Lagos later this year.
Representing the ATAF Executive Secretary, Logan Wort was Varsha Singh who signed on behalf of ATAF.
The proposed theme for the year 2022 is: “Rethinking Revenue Strategies: The Human Face of Taxation.”
